MECHANICAL

The AMI-103x has the same package and mounting dimensions, allowing it to directly replace an AMI-100x/101x.

ELECTRICAL

The AMI-103x J2 connector has 11 pins, while the AMI-100x/101x J2 connector has 10 pins. When replacing an AMI-100x/101x with an AMI-103x, pins 5 to 10 on the AMI-100x/101x need to be wired to pins 6 to 11 on the AMI-103x respectively. Additionally, a jumper wire from pin 4 to pin 5 on the AMI-103x will need to be installed.

FUNCTIONAL

As a direct replacement of the AMI-100x/101x, the AMI-103x functions identically.

The AMI-103x allows the OPEN and CLOSE control signals to be electrically isolated from one another, whereas the AMI-100x/101x does not.
