MECHANICAL

The RCT-100x has two mounting tabs to mount the unit to a bracket or other suitable surfaces inside the actuator. The RCT-101x has mounting slots that match the mounting footprint of the RCT-100x. However, the different mechanical configuration of the RCT-101x makes is slightly larger; this may require relocating the RCT-101x - refer to the datasheets for dimensional details. Alternatively, the RCT-101x can be mounted to the side of the actuator's motor using the two high-strength high-temperature tie wraps included with the unit..

ELECTRICAL

The RCT-100x and RCT-101x use the same electrical connections (POWER & LOAD) and are directly compatible. RCT-101x units are designed with a lower leakage current to prevent powering an electrical brake when the actuator motor is turned off. Applications using the special low leakage RCT-100V unit can use the RCT-101 to replace it.

FUNCTIONAL

The RCT-100x and RCT-101x have adjustable "ON" and "OFF" time settings. Both units have an "OFF" time setting that ranges from 0.5 to 10 seconds. However, the RCT-100x has an "ON" time setting that ranges from 0.1 to 2 seconds, while the RCT-101x has a range of 0.1 to 1 second. An "ON" setting greater than 1 second is no longer available.
